An excellent race wax for low humidity conditions, LF7 proves particularly effective when combined with Cera F CF7 as an overlay within its recommended temperature range. Frequently employed as a base layer before applying high-fluoro waxes like HF7, HF8, or HF10, LF7, where LF signifies Low Fluorocarbon, boasts a formula with a low percentage of low-melt point fluoro additive.
These fluorinated hydrocarbon waxes are versatile, serving as both training and racing waxes. When used in races, they can be applied alone for extremely low temperatures or with Cera F as a final layer. The temperature ranges and wax colors of LF waxes align with the HF category, yet they stand out with their 60-gram or 180-gram bar size, distinguishing them from HF waxes. LF waxes also feature a slightly more transparent appearance compared to CH waxes.
